12-Day Tanzania & Zanzibar Honeymoon Safari – Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
This is the begin of 12-Days honeymoon Safari. After the arrival at Kilimanjaro airport you will meet our team and transfer to the hotel in Arusha for short rest from long flight hours. Later have a little talk as pre briefing of next safari check all the necessary things that will be required during safari. you have dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: safari from Arusha to Tarangire.
Today in the morning after breakfast, you will start safari drive to Tarangire. You will reach at the main gate after two hours and have registration. Later drive in the park for game viewing. You will have morning and afternoon game drive before dinner and the overnight at lodge. Tarangire is famous for having large elephant population, baobab trees which is first impression of park from the main gate, together with animals which constantly feed alongside the permanent Tarangire River.
Day 3: Safari from Tarangire to Lake Manyara.
After breakfast you will have morning safari drive at Tarangire, later we depart for Lake Manyara. The park is found on the base of great east Africa rift valley. The park is known for its amazing uniqueness in term of plants and animals species. You will have afternoon safari drive before your transfer to the lodge for resting before overnight.
Day 4: safari from Lake Manyara to Serengeti.
In the morning after breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti reserved park; it will take us up to five driving hours to reach the main gate. it will give you another opportunity of to pass by Olduvai gorge for short historical tour. In the main gate you will have your lunch later proceed into the park for evening tour drive before dinner plus the overnight.
Day 5 – 6: Serengeti park full day game drive.
This is a full two days of games drive in this plain of Serengeti game park. Depending on the time of year and the location of the great migration herds, you may see large number of migrating wildebeest, being followed by predators near to them as their moving food. You will have safari to kopjes were large number of fauna are common there. This includes elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species of animals.
Day 7: safari from Serengeti to Ngorongoro conservation area.
In the morning you will have game in Serengeti later drive on the way to Ngorongoro with the optional of passing to Masai Boma for enjoy cultural tour. In the late afternoon drive to the lodge were you can have long resting before overnight.
Day 8: Ngorongoro crater to Arusha Airport.
In the morning you will be driven to the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival at Ngorongoro, you will descend into the crater for a tour drive on the crater floor. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you will able to many cats waiting for their prey and herbivores feeding everywhere within the crater floor. Later drive out the rim on the way to Arusha airport ready for flight to Zanzibar.
Days 9 -11: Zanzibar beach tour exploration.
You will spend these two days in Zanzibar for good leisure after safari to rough road during wildlife tour. Relax and enjoy the endless beaches of Zanzibar at the same time staying in your beach side hotel. There are a wide range of water sport activities you can take part in, such as snorkeling, scuba diving, boat trips and more. You will have option to have historical tour, spice tour or safari to stone town.
Day 12: Departure day from Zanzibar.
Depending on your flight schedule, you will stay in the morning until your time for transfer to airport reach. Later you will depart to airport for your flight back home or extension of your holiday.
